Space Invaders (Taito) to JAMMA Adapter

Description

Allows you to use your original Taito Space Invaders board in a JAMMA cabinet or a super gun device.

Space Invaders was one of the most popular and historically important games of the late 1970s and early 1980s.  It was originally developed by Taito of Japan and licensed to Midway for distribution in North America. The game originally used a black and white, TV type monitor, feeding it a composite signal. Interestingly, the Taito and the Midway versions use a completely different PCB, and are not pinout compatible.

This adapter will only convert the Taito version Space Invaders. For the L-Shaped Midway licensed version of the game see this page here.

The adapter contains a power-on reset circuit (POR) required for the game to start correctly.
