Description
Allows you to connect and play your North American version of Super Pacman arcade board, in your JAMMA cabinet or Super Gun device.
Super Pac-Man is the third Pacman game, but only the second one to feature Pac-Man himself. It was developed by Namco and released in 1982, a year before the game returned back to its roots with Pacman Jr, the fourth installement in the series. As before Namco handled distribution of the game in Japan while Bally / Midway did so in North America.
Female .150″ headers are used to simplify the connection to the game PCB and keep the adapter locked on tight. The adapter may be equipped with rear entry or front entry headers depending on parts availability. A short 11 pin video cable that connects to the video board is included as well.
This adapter was designed to support only the genuine version of Super Pacman manufactured in North America by Bally Midway. Japanese version of the game uses a different PCB and shares the same pinout as Galaga. Bootleg versions of this game exist as well, but they use a completely different pinout yet again.
