Namco Galaga to JAMMA Adapter

Description

Allows you to use your Namco Galaga or a pinout compatible game, in a JAMMA cabinet or a super gun device.

In 1981, only two years into operation of its arcade division and after the success of Pacman, Namco had another major hit with the release of Galaga.

Galaga used a brand new pinout which was quite different from the earlier Galaxian / Pacman / Rally-X pinouts, and it was designed to run on DC power. In the years that followed, Namco used this exact pinout for a number of other releases.

This pinout is unusual in that it has 3 connectors in total, an 44 pin edge connector for control switches and sound, one 3 ping plug for power, and another 6 pin plug for video.
