Atari Millipede to JAMMA Adapter

Description

Millipede was Atari’s follow up to the massive arcade hit Centipede. While it didn’t sell nearly as many units as the original game, it is certainly a worthy sequel and arguably a better game.

As with all Atari games of that period, Millipede has a unique pinout, and while it may not look like it, it is quite different from Centipede’s pinout. Like its predecessor, the game uses a trackball but is also capable of accepting normal joystick inputs which greatly simplifies the conversion to JAMMA.

Interestingly enough, the joystick and button controls are buggy and do not work properly in two player cocktail mode with some board revisions, a problem found in some Centipede boards as well.
